As a parent or caregiver, being prepared for a medical emergency is one of the most important things you can do. This one-hour, hands-on class is designed specifically to teach CPR and emergency response techniques for infants and children.
In this focused session, you’ll learn how to:
Recognize signs of a medical emergency in babies and young children
Perform child and infant CPR, including chest compressions and rescue breathing
Respond effectively to choking incidents
Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in pediatric emergencies
You'll practice these life-saving techniques on a child and infant mannequin and become familiar with real AED equipment. We’ll also leave time at the end for Q&A so you can get clarity on any concerns.
Cost for PMC Members:
$35 – Class only
$50 – Class + a 2-year American Heart Association certification and a take-home manual
